Mild yogurt starter culture “Fitness"
This product is a mixed culture and produces a yogurt with a mild flavor for a fitness boost!
Production of mild yogurt:
Stir the yogurt culture thoroughly into one liter of sterilized milk at 42 °C. During the incubation time of 5–7 hours, the yogurt must not become warmer or colder than 42 °C. Once the mild yogurt has reached the desired firmness and flavor, place it in the refrigerator so it can develop its full aroma during the maturation phase.
Before consumption, some yogurt can be set aside for the next preparation:
Further propagation should be carried out within 2–3 days using approx. 3 tablespoons of the yogurt in one liter of sterilized milk. Proceed in the same way as for the first production.
In this way, the culture can be propagated 10–20 times.
When preparing, ensure good hygiene so that foreign bacteria do not impair the (continued) propagation of the mild yogurt.
You can achieve set yogurt by filling the yogurt into a container, allowing it to mature, and not stirring it again after it has thickened.
