White mold culture
Product Description
White mold culture
Easily make the famous Camembert, Brie or other white mold cheeses yourself.
Here too, the cultures are dissolved in salt water and either added directly to the milk or sprayed onto the cheese wheels after molding.
The molds not only contribute to the flavor of the cheese, they also provide a fresh aroma similar to that of mushrooms, although this also depends on the milk used. In addition to cow’s milk white mold cheese, there are also varieties made from sheep’s or goat’s milk.
• White mold culture
• e.g. Camembert
• First dissolve in salt water
• Then add a small amount to the cheese milk
• And/or spray the culture onto the cheese wheels after molding
When producing white mold cheese, pay particular attention to the storage room temperature. This is crucial for the quality of your cheese during the different stages of ripening.
